Senior Systems Development Engineer / SRE
Two decades engineering ultra-low-latency, fault-tolerant infrastructure for high-performance, mission-critical environments, now building AI-ready, cloud-native platforms.

A relentless drive to automate, streamline and constantly improve has defined my career from the very beginning, which started in the dial-up era of the late '90s, at a family-run ISP in Sydney where telecommunications and IT truly got into my blood.
Two decades on, that same instinct drives how I design and optimise ultra-low-latency, fault-tolerant network systems for high-performance, mission-critical environments. A hands-on software developer, DevOps engineer, SRE and network-automation specialist, I bring deep expertise in network protocols, high-availability Linux/Windows infrastructure and API-driven integrations.
I lead cross-functional teams to ship robust, scalable solutions that move the needle on performance, resilience and cost. Today I'm focused on standing up production-grade LLM & agent platforms with the observability and guardrails to run them safely at scale.
Twenty years of hands-on engineering across infrastructure, automation and, increasingly, the AI/LLM platforms that run on top of it.
From a family-run ISP in the dial-up era to AI-ready infrastructure for high-growth tech clients.
A selection of open-source projects, from a pure-Rust ACME certificate manager to MCP servers that put network infrastructure behind natural-language AI.
Self-hosted ACME v2 certificate manager that issues & renews TLS certs via DNS-01 challenges, with no inbound HTTP needed. Pure-Rust client, REST API, CLI and a live React admin (SSE updates). Five DNS providers out of the box.
A Model Context Protocol server that lets LLMs like Claude query NetBox infrastructure in natural language (e.g. "what Cisco devices are in DC14?") with read-only tools for objects, lookups and changelogs.
A pre-configured Grafana demo environment with production-style dashboards and realistic historical data, letting you spin up a believable observability stack in seconds for testing and demos.
A native macOS app bringing FusionPBX click-to-call to the desktop, bridging two decades of VoIP/PBX experience with modern Rust desktop tooling.
A modern web UI for managing PowerDNS Authoritative servers across standalone, primary/secondary and multi-primary clusters. RBAC with ~60 granular permissions, OIDC SSO + MFA, DNSSEC/TSIG key management, diff-before-apply zone editing and append-only audit logging.
A Prometheus exporter for Fortigate firewalls, surfacing device metrics into your observability stack for real-time monitoring and alerting. Active contributor to the Prometheus community fork.
Available for DevOps, SRE and AI-infrastructure engagements worldwide. If you've got a hard infrastructure problem, I'd love to hear about it.
