Platform engineering & SRE

Platform engineering and SRE on Kubernetes

Kubernetes platforms, GitOps and CI/CD pipelines designed so teams can ship often, recover fast and spend their time on product rather than plumbing.

What I do

  • Kubernetes cluster design and operations: autoscaling, self-healing, service discovery, Calico networking and network policy
  • Release engineering with Helm and Kustomize, GitOps with ArgoCD
  • CI/CD on Jenkins, GitLab CI and GitHub Actions, with consistent, isolated releases
  • RBAC, tenant isolation and secrets management with HashiCorp Vault
  • Self-service platform tooling and APIs written in Go and Python
  • SRE practice: SLO-style monitoring, incident response, runbooks and post-incident review

How I approach it

A platform is a product for engineers. I start with how teams actually deploy today, where releases stall and what pages people at night, then design the smallest platform that removes those problems.

Everything lands as code: cluster configuration, release pipelines, policy and dashboards, so the platform can be reviewed, rebuilt and handed over without tribal knowledge.

FAQ

Questions people ask

What Kubernetes experience does Jad Seifeddine have?

Jad has operated production Kubernetes clusters orchestrating up to 2,000 Docker containers, with autoscaling, self-healing, service discovery and Calico networking, and has automated highly available clusters with Ansible. Jad designs releases around Helm, Kustomize and ArgoCD GitOps.

Can Jad Seifeddine take over an existing Kubernetes platform?

Yes. Taking over a live platform starts with an audit of cluster configuration, release pipelines, access control and monitoring, followed by a prioritised plan that fixes reliability risks first and moves the platform to reviewable, version-controlled code.
